Worked with multiple teams within the Tanzu brand to help define a Kubernetes-native developer experience for customers. As a member of Knative Tech Oversight Committee, worked to improve the health of the Knative community and steer the project direction.

• Launched Cloud Native Runtimes as the second component of Tanzu Application Platform.
• Worked publicly and privately to enable Google donation of Knative to CNCF.
• Enabled multiple $XM deals as part of cross-disciplinary design partner program.
• Enabled multiple sub-teams to launch multiple critical features, including TLS-by-default and namespace provisioning.

Directed technical, organizational, and process improvements across multiple Google and OSS serverless products: App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run and Knative.

• Tech Lead for multiple cross-site efforts (50+ engineers).
• Defined interface contracts across hosted and OSS environments.
• Contributed to multiple cross-product reliability efforts.
• Defined best practices to achieve 6-week OSS release cycle including documentation and continuous testing.

Built and managed a team of 7 engineers to redesign and rearchitect the App Engine control plane.

• Designed and shipped a new App Engine API.
• Supported millions of existing apps across infrastructure changes in access control, GDPR, and application packaging.
• Supported development of: Cloud Functions, Cloud ML, App Maker.

Tech Lead on networking and VM management components.

• Led a team to build >1Gbps software networking stack. Received multiple patents.
• Integrated Compute Engine with existing Borg infrastructure, including VM upgrade and migration. Migration was a headline feature for GA and resulted in published research.
• Responsible for multiple critical components in production from alpha to GA.

Provided technical expertise to software teams preparing to launch new services. Maintained and responded to incidents affecting google.com, including maintenance of global traffic routing and load-balancing systems at the DNS, L3 and L7 levels.

Supported adwords.google.com and adsense.google.com. Participated in rewrite and migration of monitoring, paging (borgmon) and system administration architecture (borg), including migration of hundreds of servers to the new architecture.
